The Wizard of Oz: Dress Rehearsal #2

Today marked the beginning of what my school's Thespian Society likes to call "HELL WEEK". It's the last week before the show and we're in school until 9PM.

I tried using a wet sponge/brush on Cassie (Wicked Witch) and it kind of helped, but it still looked uneven and blotchy. Also, the paint is really crappy and greasy, so we just can't seem to make it work right. Three days to the show, and the Wicked Witch's makeup is still not coming out just right.
Yesterday, John (Tin Man)'s silver face paint wasn't going on right, so to improvise, we just sprayed silver eyeshadow with water and used that. After he went on, I realized the silver face paint was water-activated and looked SO nice. It was the PERFECT Tin Man makeup. Today, we used that one instead and John started having an allergic reaction to it and it was hurting his face. He had to be on stage right away, so we didn't wipe it off. In the end of the show, he goes back to being Hickory, so it has to be wiped off right before he goes on and that silver just WOULD NOT come off! We decided with the allergic reaction, along with it not wiping off with a makeup wipe, we're probably just gonna use the silver eyeshadow again.
The Scarecrow and Glinda the Good Witch are turning out really nice and it's working out perfectly. Mikey (Scarecrow)'s makeup is wiping off nicely before he goes back up as Hunk and the only difference for Emily (Auntie Em/Glinda) was the lipstick, which takes like a second to change.
Overall, we're definitely making good progress, but there's still some things that need to be worked out. Oh, and we're all out of makeup removing wipes, which is a bad thing.
